Almost the weekend
You ever had that week where you wake up every morning and the first thought to cross your mind is "Can I call in sick today?". That's been me all week.
I really wanted to call in today. I'd be able to sleep in, get some chores done, and have a 3 day weekend. Then I remembered it was payday and I need to get my check. So here I am at work.
I was able to resolve the problem that was sending out the thousands of e-mails. I was also pretty impressed with the SQL I had come up with. At one point, I needed to see why one result set was not matching the other. So I used them as sub-queries in my From clause, linked them by a key record and outer-joined them together then filtered. That query alone had 7 sub-queries in it.
I've got a lot to do this weekend. I'm going to a poker game tonight so that'll take up a majority of the evening. Tomorrow, I got to take Brandy to the Vet and then the groomer. Then, I got to mow my lawn and clean my house for tomorrow's pot luck. Plus, I need to go to publix and buy the supplies for the pot luck. And I got 31 hours to do it. Then, factor in work, poker, and sleep - not to mention the fact that I'm lazy.
School is going well. I have two assignments due next Tuesday which I should be able to do on Sunday, and a mid-term exam is coming up with-in the week. I'm not sweating either one. The mid-term is online, so I can use my notes and book as well as have SQL Plus open so I can run the queries to see the answer. Fish in a barrel?
