Holy Shit
So I went to Lollapalooza this last weekend, and it fucking ROCKED. Saturday was just about the perfect day for an outdoor festival. It started out hot and sunny, ut got overcast, and there was a nice breeze for most of the day. I got to see soooooo many good bands, its ridiculus. It was also really cool because it was my first conert experience ever. I have never been to a concert before and to get to go to so many cool bands in two days was awsome. I got to see Cake and Weezer, two of my favorite bands, and I got to be SO much closer to them then I would ever be able to in a normal conert. Both the Cake set and the Weezer set were Incredible. But not only did I get to see big name bands, but I got to see so many really good lesser known ones, or at least lesser known to me. Sunday was when a lot of the lesser known bands were playing and boy was it HOT. I knew before we went in on sunday that it would be hot, but i did not realize that we would be one degree away from meeting a record. It reached 105 degrees. The heat really did put a damper on things, but it was still really good. I got to see ok go on sunday and they were really awsome, they had great stage presense and after they were done with their song set they did this dance that they apparently do at most of their concerts which was hilarious. Some of the other bands that I went to see that were really good were, VHS or BETA, teegan and sara, louis xiv, the arcade fire, and the dandy warhols. ANy way the whole weekend was a LOT of fun.
