Mt. Augustine, Alaska

Jan 13, 2006 19:17

Mt. Augustine decided to erupt today, five times and counting. It just went off again about 20 minutes ago. Makes for an interesting day to say the least! My office spent the day dealing with what to do for ashfall, planning for ashfall, and generally glued to the AVO and NOAA/NWA websites.

Links for anyone interested:

Best wishes and sympathy (and clean air!) to anyone in Homer tonight.
