too much thinking...

Okay so today in band on one of the boards it said "Those who give of themselves (can?) CHANGE THE WORLD". On the one hand, yes, it is nice to see someone go out there and just live for others. All they need in life is to help others and they're absolutely happy. Seeing volunteer workers at The Salvation Army or Red Cross, or just being a big brother/sister for those little ones and being a good role model. On the other hand, basically everyone already gives. I mean peoples (it is a word!) pay checks go from a lot to ehh with all the money the governement takes out. We help pay for public schools in hopes that not only our kids, but others as well will get an education. We pay for a war that most of us don't agree with. We pay for murderers and thiefs to have a nice comfy cell to sleep in and play playstation to entertain them when they should be in a not so good place. There's just so much that people are already forced to do, is it never enough? And with that, when you're forced to do it does it still count? Or is it just seen as a small torture for those who would rather keep all their money, and a thing to praise for those who enjoy it?

I'm sleepy, I have a headache, my shess hurts (haha and I can't breev) so yeah... feel free to comment or correct bc I kinda just typed down anything that made sense in my head :)
