I'm baking an apple pie. It'll be done in about 5 minutes.

Despite my pastry transgressions this past week, I still managed to lose another 3 pounds.
I figure that makes it a good idea to start this week the same way, right? Plus a friend of mine gave me a load of freshly-picked apples and I just bought some flour and other stuff, so it worked out.

I was playing with P at the park the other day, and I'm really starting to notice an increase in strength from all this gym-going. I hung from the monkey bars for a bit (I can't do pull ups yet, but I can hang for a good while), and then swung my feet over them and hung from my knees. It was awesome.

I've been craving quesadillas lately, and I saw a recipe for rolled up quesadillas (grilled burritos, basically) with refried beans and salsa in them. I might make those up later. I already have cheese, whole-grain tortillas, and a can of refried beans (without lard, yay!), but I lack salsa. Maybe I'll just throw some of my grandpa's tomatoes in there instead.. but it feels like sacrilege to not just eat those raw.

aaaaaaaaaaaaand it's about pie time.
