I love that so many of you have been bugging me about when I'm actually going to start on my webcomic. It makes me feel special.
I am apparently going to be getting a scanner from one of Geo's co-workers. Yay!
I don't know yet what size it is. I'm imagining that it won't be able to scan anything bigger than a regular 8.5x11 sheet (roughly A4 to everyone on the other side of the ocean).
So I probably won't be able to use my official comic paper, which is kind of good news and kind of bad news.
I love comic book panel sheets because they're huge. I can start bigger and shrink it down so it's easier to draw backgrounds and pack in detail, plus the paper's really heavy which makes it easier to use varying media.
However, regular paper is way cheaper than comic panel sheets, so that's a major bonus.
Plus, the scanner's free, so I can't complain about sizing too much.
Now it's just a question of when she's going to bring it to work and hand it over.
Oh, and a question of deciding on a name and buying a domain.
I still can't decide if I want to make a webcomic on a specific story line or do a sort of vaguely-based-on-my-life kind of deal. I've come up with a few story line ideas, but I can't really decide yet.
In other news, I found a stuffed Tails at the thrift store!!!
