hi everyone...
Today's been, somewhat eventful. I had to get up early to be able to say bye to my dad because he was leaving for Kentucky for a week (golf trip), whilst I was at work (more to come on work later...). So once he left I went back to my room, hopped on the laptop and watched some of those mindless morning shows. Around 10:30 I decided that I better get showered... Did that finished getting ready and I realized that I had to email my aunt and my cousin's wives about us going to Simcoe on Sunday morning to do a little mothers day get-together before Allie has to go into work for noon. I left shortly afterward, and of course I NEEDED a caffiene fix. On my way to Starbucks I stopped into Future Shop to get the Instant Karma CD, I must have spend at least 20 minutes looking for it/getting the idiotic sales associates to find it. How can these people work in the music section of a store and never heard of Instant Karma by John Lennon, or at least the CD of Lennon covers! It was one of the most anticipated CD releases last year!!! Gah, stupid people... I am a typical North American consumer/waster and I hopped into my car and drove five seconds over to Starbucks. They had the stupid crew on in there too!!! I get sad when my bistros aren't on, the know what I always get! Anyway, after like 10 minutes of waiting there I finally got my frap and drove around a bit before I had to head into work for 1:30. Work, work, work, what can I say about it? I definately hate how it sucks my soul. It's great having Helen back, I never realized how much I missed her!!! And of course the best parts of work today was seeing two of my best friends, Jess and Emma both came in! =) It was nice to see them and to catch up some more with Em. Ok, so needless to say, after an 8 hour shift of standing in basically one spot my legs are killing me! I haven't had this sort of pain in my calf muscle and my knee in ages. I kinda don't really want to go into work tomorrow! Oh well, tomorrow's another day. (Sorry about the one big long paragraph)
