Well this has just made my year.
Just wanted to share this amazing piece of news. I don't know when this is going to start.. but it gives me a lot of hope for the other families out there who've gone through what my sister, mum and I have gone through.
MND is a horrible degenerative disease that within 2-3 years of diagnosis basically locks you within your own non-functioning body. At least our government is making a step in the right direction. It seems my mums letter actually made an impact on the health minister and they are going to allow this research to go ahead instead of going the way of the american government and banning it for "moral reasons".
