well, last night was just a ball of fun.
i think my graphics card is dead. like dead dead dead dead DEAD.
been playing rediculous amounts of warcraft this week, and all has been fine (well, its never really that good when it comes to my computer, but not too many crash errors in recent days) but yesterday arvo, i logged into the game and BOOM, Blue screen of death ( video card driver - nv4_disp.dll error) so i rebooted, then logged in again, and a little lovely grey error box pops up just before the game finishes loading and the box says that my video card driver has ceased working correctly. I freak out a little, swear a lot... and move to my mothers computer for the rest of the day. Came back onto my computer at like 8pm and tried again (after leaving it off for a few hours) same problem. Updated the drivers, not fixed, uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled them from scratch and did the updates again. No fix. crazy graphics errors when i finally could log into warcraft for 10 minutes tell the guild chat that my graphics are going nuts and i think my graphics card is going to blow up and then... the game shits itself and randomly restarts the computer. I freak out again, open my computer case and pull out my video card, clean it, get all the dust off the fan and put it back in and boot up again.
NO SIGNAL is now on my monitor.
*cries* and like less than a month before i was going to upgrade anyway. I might have to do this upgrade sooner than i thought. which sucks, like a lot. cause i can't afford the $900 i wanted to spend on it, until february... arrrghhh
*cries some more* so ill just go over there *points to gamedude.com.au* and plan what i want to buy.
oh dear. it comes out at $981 including labour. dear oh dear.
*le sigh*
looks like ill be playing world of warcraft on mums computer for a while.
(HA! ive almost caught up to katie's level. im at level 29 now. *obsessed*)
