"What is more natural than that we should persist in looking for happiness along the path on which we first encountered it?" - Freud.
I'm not usually a big fan of this dude. But maybe I shouldnt judge as its my first time reading him. He is a bit pessismistic for me though. (I am more of a realist these days, or at least I hope to avoid the naivitie of optimisme. I re-read Candide.)
Anyways.
What was the first time I was happy? What was the first memory you have of being happy? (This should have been my video production question. Oh well.)
I always say looking at the cast list for Annie is up there in my happiest moments. I remember it so clearly.
I remember being really happy going night running. Being outside in the summer air. Without a cell phone, waiting and wishing for things to happen.
It's never too late.
I don't want to abandon performing in my life. Ever.
