long overdue....

Ok, so its been a while but I'm finally getting around to updating my journal. So what has Melanie been up to? I made it to the east coast where I visited Jared in Boston (totally fell in love with it!), Lauren in Massachusetts (her beach house to be exact where I had one of the best 4th of July ever), Emily in western Massachusetts, the Berkshires to be exact, and Jeremy in New York where we made a special trip to the Adirondacks and Lake Placid (what fun). It was an awesome trip-nice to see people and a good break. So I returned to beautiful San Diego where I've been enjoying the weather, the beach, the Carlsbad beach house and the gym. The 3 T's are still holding strong for those of you who are curios. Also went right into skating where I suffered through a long weekend of choreography which was super benefical for me in making the SU program. Unfortunatley I think I may have permanently damaged my toes which have now been numb for 2 weeks (ah, the pain of and sacrifice). 11 days till I pass my senior moves (you heard me PASS!). I've been preparing for months now and feel better than ever even though both knees are shot and my toes are continuously numb. However, the judges made my day today saying that I have strong moves and have a serious chance. This totally made my day on a day which I've always needed cheering up on. The struggle to get me to stay and skate in San Diego continues. Team del Sol Senior has 2 awesome programs and I wish I could be at Cuse and still skate for del Sol. It's gotten so bad that rumors have spread that I'm not returning to school. I've had 3 people approach me asking if the rumors are true. Are they? You'll find out in the fall. Funny how Karen had a plan for me too. She told me to go to school, go to UCSD in the spring and study abroad next summer. Could I manage this, maybe? Finally I'm super fly sporting a Nissan ultima. Marina's car rocks! Thanks again.
