Ok, seeing that I am an art history major i will comment on the music video's of Modest Mouse "Float On" and Franz Ferdinand "Take me Out"
...basically I see a lot of symbolism in these two videos; very similar yet different. first the two remind me of the style done by Popova and de Hooch. Especially Modest Mouse reminds me of Russian Constructivism and its cut out paper doll look. The title of the album is perfect ("Good news for people who love bad news")for its theme of innocent little sheep about to be slaughtered. On the other hand Franz Ferdinand's "Take me out" more resembles de Hooch and the assemblage style. Ok, enough of that...
here's what i;ve been up to...
concert going, working and playing the boss, helping create a competition, being a busy little bee, becoming trim, tone and tan, going to see movies (excited for "Saved"), hanging with friends, makign new friends (Dan, Parker, Mark, Robert...fun times)
Ok, I've exposed myself enough...peace
