It's Fall Today In Tulsa!
Hey, it's Fall, Football & Payday! (good ole' S.S. Disability) I am feeling the weather today.That guy from Houston is visiting in force today, you know Mr. Arthur-itis? Plus I can no longer take Celebrex or anacin due to stomach ulcers discovered in a Upper GI test in preparation for the surgery. We are getting the remnants of Gustav here in Tulsa,very windy, rainy & 65 deg. Just makes me wanna make some stew & cornbread, put a fire in the fireplace & watch football.I know, you have already noticed, as I did, that one of my first comfort thoughts is of food. We def. need to change that don't we. I do want to thank those of you who befriended me on my "Inaugural LJ Day" :) And keep those comments coming about Gastric Bypass surgery.I am still a bit nervous about this whole writing & having it read by lots of folks, so bear with me. Btw, until the Sarah Palin issues in credibility arose I thought the term "vet" was in reference to a car or to a Dr. of animals.
