What's New with figmom?
have a new "career" as the Campus Life Representative of Sycamore Square which is the Independent Living apt. complex I live in here at Baptist Retirement Village in Owasso, Ok. (just 20 miles from Tulsa.) I was elected which would have been very cool but I was the only one running! I am excited about all of the things I have in mind for us all to do this year. At age 61, I am the baby here. Ha ... After telling them about my plans for us everybody seems to be excited as well. I am also involved in the choir. God has definitely placed me here. Amazing how things work out like that, huh? We also have a chapel where we have prayer meetings as well as a 4 p.m. worship service on Sundays. The chapel looks exactly like Rejoice Church did 30 years ago & is quite comforting & brings back great memories! I look forward to this year and all of the exciting things that will go on. Yeah!!!!! God is Good.....All the time!!!
