I've decided that what seems to work best for me in motivating myself to be healthier or anything else is to create small well-defined goals and then bribe myself for doing them.
Does anyone else have to resort to bribing yourself to get things done? What types of goals do you set? What do you use as rewards?
I also realized that I have way too much in common with Dilbert, since my default method for solving problems seems to be to build a database for it. I set up a little application so I could create goals and rewards and track them online. Then I decided while I was at it. I should clean it up a little and add basic instructions and let other people use it. It's available here
