I'm really horrible at writing. I can never just start typing what I want to say without having to think about it first, backspacing a lot, etc. With that said, I'll try my best to recap the past month's events, but before I do, I want to apologize for the fact that whenever I write in here, it's often after a trip home which might make my writing ( Read more... )

Nine days later... This entry finally gets recognized.

Jay, You really need to start calling me when you come HOME. It sounds like you had a fun time for the short stay you had. Glad you haven't forgotten about the good times and the good people you have waiting for you at HOME.

I have noticed my writing skills to be dwindling as well. It's always nice to pull out those big entries and vent/express. Writing voluntarily, it's a great freedom to celebrate. Feels good especially after getting done with finals and having to write massive papers with ugly deadlines. Writing here is a stress free opportunity to say what you want, let others know what you're up to. More importantly, you should be writing for yourself.

Working at the apple store isn't a surprise. You are always trying to sell anything you hold dear to you. I think it was your first mac you got that I remember I was sitting on Jon's steps and you came over to show it off. Or coming over for a LAN and always hearing about new gadgets and knick-knacks you come across. Always so enthusiastic about introducing people to new things. Sounds like you're enjoying it, keep that enthusiasm.

Recently, for my birthday, I did something I told myself I would never do. I bought myself an IPOD. It just seemed way too practical for me to have one. I was fumbling with CDs while driving. I was walking to class whistling or on the off chance I got to class early I would be sitting and staring blankly ahead. I would say that I use my IPOD more than the average owner and I stand by it. I love it. I got an 80GB silver ipod classic. I love the silver and matte black look. About time they did away with the white. It looked really cheap and prone to dirt and discoloration.

My next computer will be a Mac without a doubt. As far as the iPhone goes, It is so much fun to play with but it isn't really practical for me at the moment. It sickens me to see younger children not even in high school or college running around with them. It's not an uncommon occurrence where I work now. As a matter of fact, you mentioned it in your entry. STARBUCKS*.

*I need something to write about for my next entry so I'll save my opinion on Starbucks for that. To say the least, I love it.
