buddywalk for down syndrome!
for those of you who do not know, my niece courtney has down syndrome. on october 3rd from 10-2 i will be walking in bergen county, new jersey to raise money for her and others with down syndrome. last year alone buddy walk raised over 9.5 million dollars nation-wide for local and national education, research and advocacy programs.
my team has set a goal to raise $1000 and i am setting a personal goal of $200. i would really, REALLY appreciate if you could sponsor me and my team! it's not per mile or anything; just a flat donation of whatever you can afford -- and every penny helps!
you may also choose to walk with us; you can register through any of the links. all it costs is $10 for the t-shirt, and there will be free food and entertainment!
