[Sesshomaru appears to be walking down a street lined with apple trees where once people might have stood. The fact that some of the trees are sprouting from steps as if entering or leaving buildings didn't help. He pauses to regard one of the trees and its strange fruit (apple trees not having been around during the Sengoku period), before reaching out to take one in his hand.]
I wonder if there's some purpose to this.
[The daiyoukai raises the apple to his face as if inspecting it, his nose wrinkling in obvious distaste. Then he tosses the fruit aside contemptuously.]
