Isn't it strange how we instinctively consider older thoughts to be more mature? Like there is something inherent in time that says, "No, when you're this age, you think this, and it's always a bad idea in retrospect." We make our way through decisions and consequences and never understand the ever-passing 'now' that we perpetually exist in.
Because, I don't know about you, but I don't feel any different than I did when I was 7. Sure, I think different things, but now my attention is just focused on sex and drugs instead of GI Joes and Kool-Aid.
And the older I get, the happier I am that I don't feel any older.
