Car accidents are never fun.
I got t-boned in the middle of an intersection on my way to school on thursday.
I pretty much was driving and heard the squealing of tires and looked out my drivers side window only to see a car coming straight at me.
And then it hit me, hit both my driver's side doors.
I pretty much sat in the intersection for like 10 seconds, wondering if that really just happened.
Then i thanked God because I was perfectly fine, and so were the other people.
Basically the guys that hit me were mexican landscapers, and the driver had no insurance and an expired drivers license (and it wasnt even his car!). Yeah. I also was practically on hold when I had called 911 to report the accident, really glad I wasnt dying. And then the cop took his sweet time to get there, almost 20 minutes.
The whole left side of my truck where the doors are got pretty bashed in. But overall my truck took the hit really well, their truck was all jacked up. The good news is, we may not even have to pay the insurance deductable, so all of this might not cost anything at all. Just inconvenient that I have to drive a rental car for like a week or two.
We played a show on saturday at some new venue in rialto, it was really bad. The venue, how we played and rialto in general. Terrible sound setup, no monitors, so no one could hear eachother and we were a bit sloppy. Oh well. Were playing at the showcase on Oct 1st, and then were playing at The Alley with Narcoleptic Youth and Tipper Gore on the 15th, which will be kinda crazy.
I also went to some random indie rock show at chain reaction, to take photos, i saw this band The Appearance, the guitar player was quite good to photograph,
