the rules: the first player of this
game starts with the topic of "5
guilty pleasures" and people who get
tagged need to write an LJ entry about
5 guilty pleasures as well as state
this rule clearly. in the end you need
to choose 5 people to be tagged and
list their names... (more dots... suspense!)
1) Quoting movies/shows/songs...I have this amazing memory that is built to memorize the most random things, which includes quotes. I don't think you can find anyone that can quote Dumb and Dumber better than I can. I destroy those online quizes about my favorite shows and who says what quote. But the best part of memorizing these quotes is the ability to connect with people that are equally obsessed. Some people dont understand half of what Ryan and I say, because 1/2 of our words are simply borrowed or in referrence to common shows and movies we've seen.
2) Facebook/Myspace/Livejouranl/anything internet... I spend far too much time simply thumbing through these sites. there isn't much to say to this, because I know anyone that reads this suffers from the same thing.
3) TV show marthaons (DVD or TV)... I have no probrlem sitting for hours upon hours of simply watching amazing shows cough...buffy/scrubs/angel/lost/alias. This helps feed my 1st quilty pleasure.
4) Pop music... I'm not going to lie, this is a huge guilty pleaure of mine. I love almost all pop, from Rod Stewart to Christina Aguilera. From classic boy bands like Boyz II Men and All 4 One to O-town. Who can forget about my obession with classic Mariah Carey, pre-hip hop cross over, and Clay. It's hard to top these pop love ballads.
5)Debating... It runs through me,and I realized I enjoy ir far more than I should. I guess this is party why I loved MUN so much. But I realized that it's hard to be in a class discussion, because I just want to debate everyone's point, even if I agree with it as if our teacher was moderating a debate and would score me on an excellent counter-point. Debating is such a pointless thing in everyday life, because unlike arguement in which you change someone's mind, debate appeals to some third party. This last guilty pleasure just makes me seem retarded, but i'm tired.
