So it turns out we were not the only ships hit after all. This definitely complicates things, as it rules out the theory that they were trying to start a war by targeting the 4423 and the Victoria II specifically. Though it does explain the Winding Way's involvement in a way. We were just a few of many.

However, the question remains; What were they trying to accomplish by this?
