[It's a hot day, so Guybrush is out swimming at the lake. No, he's not fully dressed this time. He's gotten some swimming trunks and he's wearing those. If you happen to see him at the right time, you might notice him dive underwater... and then not come up.]

[Yeah, Jack's been down at the lake a lot recently, planning his boat. He's just about to hail Guybrush from shore when he goes under.]

Oi! Threepwood, you great lungfish! Where are you?

[Guybrush doesn't hear. He's underwater, and he's not coming up.]

He's gonna owe me for this...

[Jack carefully removes his boots and effects before diving in after his fellow pirate.]

[fightlikeacow]

[Guybrush can be found floating near the bottom. His back will be turned to Jack, looking out over the depths of the lake.]

[lists_to_port]

[Jack's a very good diver. He gets near to Guybrush and pokes him, which is pretty much all he'll be able to do before having to head for the surface again. His eyes communicate something along these lines:]

Dead?

[fightlikeacow]

[Guybrush turns around, giving Jack a confused look.]

[lists_to_port]

[Jack gives the "Dead?" questioning look once again, before making the "Oh bloody hell I am going to DROWN down here!" face and kicking back to the surface. His head breaks the water above. There is quite a bit of gasping.]

Threepwood! I'll gut him and mount him on my mantel, right beside the stone owl!

[Jack owns neither mantel nor owl. He dives below again and tries to pull at Guybrush's arm.]

[Still confused, Guybrush allows Jack to pull him to the surface.]

[lists_to_port]

[The two pirates reach the surface, where Jack sputters quite a bit and is breathing heavily from the exertion.]

Mate--you--daft--

[fightlikeacow]

[Guybrush's breath is a little heavier than normal, but not as much as Jack's.]

Hey, Jack. What do you want?

[lists_to_port]

[He finally collects himself and thinks about this.]

What do I want? A beautiful wench, a bottle of rum, and a flyin' boat. Now, on to other matters: what in Davy Jones's tentacly slime-ridden beard do you think you were doing down in the depths?

I dunno. I wanted to see what was down there.

Well? What was down there?

Mud. And some rocks. A couple of fish.

Narwhals?

Sadly, no. I thought I saw a manatee at one point, but it turned out it was just a log.
