Forgetting pain might sound nice, but ultimately it robs life of its very substance, Ryuubi-san.

I have lived long enough to know that it is not necessarily true, Ryuubi-san.

One might think so on occasion, but one comes to know it is not so in the end.

No... no, I just cause myself misery. Ekitoku would beat me over the head... heh, if she knew... it doesn't matter. I'll make my peace with fate eventually, if not in this life then maybe in the next.
