Best. Game. Ever.
Last softball game was tonight. I had a blast. I volunteered to play catcher, and we kicked ass for having 7 players total, one of them borrowed, and three outs at the end of the lineup. I almost got a girl out by throwing the ball to third, but she slide and got saf, and the other didn't tag home and I grabbed the ball and went for her (involving me lunging/diving and sliding painfully into her and the ground) but the ball got out of my hands when I hit her and she got safe, too. Oh well. It was fun. XD
My knee, however, got torn up when I slide in my crazy attempt to get her out, and hurts like mess. I'm in pain, was dirty and smelly and bloody until I took a shower, and had the time of my life.
We didn't win, but got first in our league (GB kicked our asses) and did it with a short team almost every game.
The score was 11-12, just two points from beating the (almost) unbeatable team.
I wouldn't change what happened tonight for the world.
