rocky mountain high.
so, here i am in Estes Park, Colorado. a lil' mountain valley town next to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. can you say, "beautiful"? the leaves are turning a lovely shade of gold. there is a lake in the center of town and a stream that runs thru. elk walk and feed wherever they please. this is my second day here, as it's only a 35 minute drive from Boulder, which by the way, is a great little town, but too crowded and strip-mall(y) for my taste. cute bearded boys that work at the local record store on Pearl St, though...i picked up "holy wars" by TuxedoMoon and "internal wrangler" by Clinic.
today i head over to denver until tomorrow, upon which i will be making my way to Lawrence, KS. wish i could spend more time here in the rocky mountains, but i'm longing for home, or at least the east coast.
