# What is the most elaborate meal you've ever prepared yourself or purchased at a restaurant? one of the anniversary dinners Ran & I shared at Mark Miller's Grill Room in Las Vegas, the place we were having dinner when we decided to get married that night. We always asked for the same table & the staff gave us royal treatment with complimentary champagne & dessert with Happy Anniversary written on the plate in chocolate. I can't remember all the other food details, but it was always an event for us.
# What food do you find yourself making and/or eating way too much? store bought cinnamon raisin bread
# What was your most disastrous cooking/eating out experience? Soon after Ran & I were married, I tried a recipe I found in his collection. It was for an asparagus dish, blanched & then marinated in olive oil, vinegar & spices. After our first bites, we looked at each other and I said I have to nuke this to see if it helps. After microwaving, I took another bite and said, "I can't eat this shit." Ran asked me where I found the recipe, so I told him it was one he had clipped out of a newspaper and handed it to him. He read it, then without another word he got up from his chair, ripped the clipping in half, and threw it in the trash can. God, I love that man!
