[the contents of the mystery package for Orihime]

Dec 14, 2008 00:34

[[OOC: The package is wrapped in brown paper and taped shut. Inside is, indeed, a small shoebox (one Ichigo saved from his care packages from home). It contains the following items:
  • a well-thumbed but lovingly kept copy of William Shakespeare's Sonnets: a bilingual edition, with the English original on the right and the Japanese translation on the left-hand page (The in-leaf is marked "Kurosaki Ichigo". Various sonnets have pencil underlinings and vague, illegible scribblings in the margins.)
  • a worn, illustrated copy of Jorge Luis Borges's The Book of Imaginary Beings, smelling of ink and paper and dust the way old books do (There's a slip of paper between the pages that reads "Chad sent this for me, so consider it from both of us.")
  • a copy of the latest Seireitei News ("So you can keep up.")
  • a small paper bag of sunflower seeds (On the bag, there are scrawled characters reading "Take good care of them.")
  • the rest of the available space is stuffed with various sweets: white wasabi chocolate, squid flakes, red bean paste youkan, milk candies.]]

possible awkward averted!, he spams because he cares, letters from home
