04d: Karakura field report final
[Private to Hitsugaya: Mission report]
To Captain Hitsugaya Toushirou, Tenth Division
Field report for recon mission to Karakura, November 7-8
Karakura Town is still deserted. I found one earthbound ghost on the northern edge of the town; suspect that it had appeared after the destruction. Performed konsou on it. There are no obvious Hollow spawning spots: even with the swarm, the patterns of their appearance are still random.
Low-level Hollows purified in total: 23. Didn't see any Pluses other than the one earthbound one. They could either be avoiding the area because of the Hollow influx or be naturally reluctant to hang around. The whole place feels restless, like something moves under the surface spiritually unstable, by the best of my judgment.
Fought an Adjuchas calling itself Aliero Avalarone and dispatched it. It was human-shaped (like a Vasto Lorde, but identified as Adjuchas), but could fix itself by changing shape like some amorphous substance. It fought by forming long spikes from its fingers.
Encountered Arisawa Tatsuki, old friend of mine. She was killed by the Adjuchas and brought to Soul Society by Vice-Captain Kuchiki Rukia. She knew about shinigami and Urahara Kisuke and is now in Soul Society about to enlist in the Shinigami Academy.
I mention the next part because I think it could help us in the long run. Met Muguruma Kensei, Visored. It looks like he's taken residence at a garage at [exact coordinates detailed here]. He was looking for his friends. I know it's not really my place to say, but this could be flammable information, and should be treated as classified. He could be a lot of help if treated right.
Aborted mission with permission and returned to Seireitei after burial of Arisawa Tatsuki.
