Back from patrol in Rukongai. Was three days ago, actually, but was laid out due to heroic injuries incurred in the line of duty. First smart-ass with snide commentary on said injuries gets to test just how well my hands have healed.

I'm back on my feet (and hands) and on duty, but I might have some evening leave lined up. And I might be persuaded to spend it on a party, i.e. you bet your ass I will.

As for the heroic injuries, it's kind of a long story. You might need to get me a drink first.

My sister went back to Karakura and school, but I had to promise she'd get to visit again soon, see Ganjuu too, so on. I told her no ditching class to gallivant about in the afterlife 'til she's sixteen, so that buys me a few more months.

Okay, now I am confused. I know we handwaved the first Karin visit to SS, but was it assumed she met Kuukaku or not? It would be more epic to have them meet in actual log or something, but I was under the impression that they had met. Oh well, let's just decide one way or the other, please?

Also you may now assume Ichigo has told Kuukaku at least the bare bones of the plan over the network, because he doesn't want to leave her in the dark.

And if something happens, she should tell his father, but not his sisters. Except maybe Karin, gently and without gory details plz.

I figured between the construction in the Rukongai and just being busy in general, that the meeting didn't happen. Because I would like them to meet either in a log or in action spam, considering how important this would be to Kuukaku.

Besides, Kuukaku was clued in by Kensei long ago to the plan, so she's well aware of what they're doing, but she will send word on to Urahara to tell Karin, since Kuu is not in Karin's filter so I doubt she'll be able to use the network.

I was sixteen before I got to Soul Society, I'll have you know. I'm fine with her coming here on weekends, whatever. She can see how it is and what's what, make her choices after that.

Look, Kuukaku, I sure as hell wanna protect her. And... we'll finish this talk when we've got those drinks, okay?

Yeah, yeah. Most of the reconstruction's pretty self-sufficient at this point, so I have a little more time on my hands now. I just hope you kept her away from the Eleventh!

Fifteen, sixteen, whichever, a year doesn't mean much around here. Kinda gets hard to keep track of the single years. But letting her make an informed decision is good, glad you're not just brow-beating her into keeping her out of Soul Society business. Though, guess even then its a matter of time anyway, huh?
