Born in the Castle of Newcomb upon the Island of Oxy, I was bound to live a life as a scholar.
But then the storm came.
The hubris of the people of Oxy brought the wrath of the gods upon then, and all but the Castle of Lord Newcomb and the Free City of Bell-Young fell into darkness. I became a Night Runner; one who ventured into the Lands of Darkness in order to help the less fortunate. I ventured first to the Tower of Stearns but Lo! my friend the Viscountess Booth was not there. I dressed myself as an Assassin of Cathay and moved on to the Dungeon of Braun. I moved down several flights of stairs in the dark, but was unable to find either friend or foe. I then ventured to the Free City of Bell-Young to meet with the young Queen Elena. We briefly left the Island of Oxy to eat Cream of Ice. Returning, I tracked a group of humans down past the Tavern and the Branca Patio. But they were boring, so I left. I went through the Pit of Pauley meeting with Baroness Colleen, but left after a short conversation. I moved on to the Dungeon of Braun again and met with the Captain of the Temple Guard, Kate. We had a lovely conversation but I moved on like a vagabond to Norris Keep. After meeting briefly with the Rogue Anna and the Pirate King, Alexander, I left.
On return to Newcomb Castle, I discovered that a damsel had left her parasol in our room. Lord God Jeffrey did not know to whom it belonged. Not wishing to cause a scandel that might slander her name, I resolved to return it to her. It belonged to neither Baroness Colleen nor Marquess Liana, nor Andrea, The Fire of Dawn. I discovered it belonged to the Rogue Anna and passed the night there, leaving during the witching hour to return to the Castle for sleep. . .
