Hello everyone,
sorry this is going to be kinda short, I'm getting ready and packing for A-Cen. Brittany, Greg and I leave tomorrow morning, so Chicago here we come. Just wanted to thank everyone for their concern about my arm and everything. I realized that I had not given an update so here goes. It turns out it was an entrapped nerve that was and is (sometimes) causing the tingling and numbness in my arm. Inspite of that they wanted me to go to see a cardiologist, so I did. They did more blood work and a stress test (yes me who hates to run had to run for 9 min.) but they said my heart looked healthy and my lungs were clear (which was a good thing to know) The only problem they found was that my cholesterol was WAY WAY high. A normal persons should be about 150. Mine was 299, so they put me on Crestor, and I've been having to eat alot of oatmeal and drink grapejuce for the past three weeks. Well I went in yesterday to get more blood work done to see how the crestor is working. I just got a call from the doctor's office and they told me that my cholesterol is MUCH better (literally the doctor wrote Much in all caps and underlined it so that she would stress how much it had improved.. lol she told me that) Anway they want to keep me on the meds for another 6 weeks and see if they can get it lower (it's much better but not where it needs to be yet.) the did say that my liver and thyroid are both good.. (that's something you have to keep a check on with cholesterol medicine) So all the news is good.. I'll be out of pocket from this Thurs. - Next thurs. I won't even have access to a computer, so I probably won't be able to e-mail at all.. but hope everyone has a great week.. talk to you all soon.
