New stuff
Well it's been a very long time since I've updated with anything of significance, so I suppose I will do so now just so that I don't completely lose touch with all of you. We should work on that by the way. So, here are some random little things going on:
I'm still dating Niles, and he's about to become my longest relationship, and I'm quite happy about it. I can see this one lasting quite a while. He'll be in Columbia this summer doing research at USC (plus he lives in Pelion anyway) and I've decided to stay in Lexington (for monetary purposes) this summer too, so that will be nice. Things are very very good there :).
I'm going to Clemson next year. I'm rooming with my friend Heidi from here too. Where are all of you going? Lindsay, I know you were thinking strongly about Clemson, and Laura I know you were thinking on USC, but I really don't know what's going on there.
I have actually stopped smoking, which is always a plus. The last time was actually with Brice's cousin.
I bought my Bonnaroo ticket this weekend, and I'm totally psyched about that (for a hint, the Police are headlining). Go to bonnaroo.com for a complete listing. It's pretty amazing.
I went to NCSSM (North Carolina School for Science and Mathematics) the other week for a conference with five schools like ours. So that was cool, I got to stay there for five days and meet lots of cool other people.
While in NC we went to Duke on a tour, and Jake Wyrick happened to be there for the tour at the same time. Weird, but cool to talk to him.
I've just been working a lot, so I guess that's about all.
Oh, one more funny thing. I was at Niles's house Saturday night (for a birthday celebration thing with all of his neighbors and family and stuff) and this one guy Jesse (who grew up in Pelion) upon finding out I was from Lexington said this, "Oh, Lexington...that's where the high-class rednecks is from. I'm from Pelion. We the low-class rednecks." Hahaha, I laughed a lot at that.
