Wow, that was an evening. Went to a party, saw a drunk and enraged ex pour a bottle of tequila all over a lit gas grill, spreading fire all over the grill and deck under it. Then was one of two people to get between that ex and another girl who were trying to duke it out (the only person I knew in it was the guy, had met the ex once previously,

Yes, fire bad. After the initial burst of heat, it died down before anything really caught, thankfully. But it was enough to shock everyone.

I'd imagine. Good for you for stepping up to the plate and helping cool everything down quickly.

*laughs* Though, I must say the thought of some crazy ex nearly burning the place down and then later having fireworks set off seems really... really stupid to me ;) That guy must seriously have a death wish.

*laugh* Well the fire occured in a closed in deck. The fireworks started in the back yard, but after hitting the trees which pretty much covered the sky, were moved out into the street. Either way, houses were spared.
