this past month review
It's funny how life goes sometimes. I am pretty content with everything going on right now. I recently turned 25 on a night where I consumed the best Indian buffet ever, djed all my favorite records to a full bar, wore a super fancy party dress, had probably way too many greyhounds, and woke up to an even better birthday celebration with creme brule and fancy cocktails. I received beautiful and very expensive frosting colored stilettos, a nameplate necklace, Godard movies, She & Him, Marc Jacobs and Coco Mademoisell perfume, watched the new Charlie Kaufman movie with an extremely beautiful man, drank far too many whiskey sours, and slept like an infant. I feel mature. I take care of myself. I am going back to school, I bake a lot, Nikk and I are good friends again, I talk to my dad, I got a great job working at my favorite store where I get all Japanese vinyl at a low, low price, not to mention the Sanrio kiosk we recently got in! I got a hundred dollar bonus after 2 weeks working there, and someone tipped me a 50 for making them a bagel yesterday. A man told me he was in love with me, and I am not sure what to think or feel. I saw someone who completely broke my heart and when he waved to me, I acted like he wasn't there, and I didn't cry. The power in my neighborhood went out last night, but thankfully I was at my mom's with family doing the gift thing and eating lots of food and watching girl movies. I stopped eating meat. I may be applying to work at Dark Horse Comics so I can move back to Portland, and I have a pretty good chance at getting the job.I can't wait! Xmas has been great and fun. I got the Dark Knight and a bunch of baking stuff and A FOOD PROCESSOR! Not to mention a popcorn tin, a bunch of dvds, and Target gift cards.
