Hrm
Today was fun ^_^ Mom and Dad came up to visit so we spent the day uptown shopping. Mom and Kirsten cooked an awesome chicken dinner and we all munched while watching Star Wars.
I bought Ollie some spinach and some oats. Spinach is tremendously good for rats, not to mention humans. He loves the oats! I can see such a change in him since he's had a new diet and this new home. Now he can actually run around and entertain himself. And he's being such a good boy! He goes in his litter box every time he needs to go. ^_^
I desperately need another rat though :( SMITHERS FOLK: does anyone know where I could get a baby (or 4-month old) male rat? Rats are extremely social animals and can actually develop isolation illnesses and even die of lonliness. There was a brother with Ollie when I bought him, but I didn't want to buy him. He didn't look healthy and he tried to bite me when I picked him up. Also, I hardly had enough room for Ollie in his one cage as it was. And then the next day somebody bought the brother. It has to be another male; I can't have any babies happening, and neutering can cost upwards of $600. o_O
Other than that, we went to bootlegger, ma and sis and I, to try on some new clothes. I desperately needed new jeans but I ended up buying two shirts instead. It's weird, I'm suddenly wanting color in my wardrobe. XD I'm not just BLACK BLACK and MORE black anymore. The new style is that frilly peasant-type top that hugs you under the breasts and then billows out at the bottom. They're really pretty, and they make you feel so feminen and beautiful when you try them on. So I bought one ^_^ I'll post pics later. I didn't totally betray my Dana-Side though. I also bought a top with an angry-looking Chihuaha on it that says' 'My dog can kick your dogs ass' XD
I'm currently reading 'White Fang' which is such a wonderful story. You've got to read the complete and unabridged version, however. It's so sad though; I can never understand why I continue to read it when it always makes me cry. ^^;
Well, I'm off to sleep. We're doing a big walk tomorrow and I don't want to be really dog tired.
