So Sophomore year comes to a close...
So judging by the title...most of yous were probably expecting a whole novel for this entry right? Well...nah...I'm too tired to write one now, but you better believe tomorrow it's gonna go down.
I left off with that really long monday where I got my speeding and registration (or lack thereof) tickets, and yeah.
So tuesday, as a very welcome break from studying for my 2 math finals that were looming for wednesday, Jeff came up for the day to visit. He got there around 11 or so and we checked out the cars, his new muffler sounds awesome and we were hoping my intake came in that day so we could install it but it came the next day. Went to have lunch with Kait and then hit the beach. Nice to throw the ball around with him on the beach again, good times as always, especially hitting the eggball into the ocean and it kept coming back! Went to 7-11...then I took a nap then we had dinner, and hung out and he took off around 9. Thanks bud for the visit <3
Wednesday was another long-ass day. After studying for my calc final and a DD run that kept me up till almost 4am...I was up and took the 9am shuttle over to campus to get breakfast and make my formula sheet, went in and pretty much kicked that final's ass...nothing less than an 80. :) Then I got a meal to go, had a fire drill while I was reviewing for my next math final at 5:30...my Dad came down to bring my registration, and we hit the driving range, mind you I haven't picked up my golf clubs in about a year, and I smacked the shit out of the ball, had a baseball followthrough but hey, I've been hitting more with a bat than a club so that's expected. Went back to review that didnt help at all as I, along with most of the class, bombed on this test..bah...then I went to the weight room to blow off steam and stress from the day, and got my obligatory taco bell for dinner. Couldn't relax though cuz then I had to my visual graphic organizer for my education class take hom final from the 2 articles that I had a report on. Did that really well Then finally FINALLY passed out around 3.
Thursday the only thing I had to be up for was to hand in my education final around 3:30 so I slept all the way until 2:30...then headed over to campus and handed in my thing, then met up with Hilary to help her print out her stuff and sprint it over to hand it in, then we got bagels and iced tea and waited to sell back our books. I got 3 dollars, a whole 3 dollars, that doesn't even pay for an iced latte at DD! Then went back and chilled, and went to WaWa with Mike Wu, and watched the Yankee game. Then I showered and got ready for the last thursday night of the year. We all found out about a party somehwere by campus, so like 15 of us from the hotel went to that house, and I saw and chilled with a bunch of the guys I always see at the weight room. Great times there, oh man, basically my fist party outside of the ones at the hotel. Awesome, then we went to mickey Ds which I really don't remember, and passed out around 4.
Woke up delerious on friday, and got my usual DD on the way home and got back around 2. Just hung around and ate for a bit then started my new intake before work. Had everything hooked up right, started it up, and revved it, but the idiot that I am I forgot to hook it up to the MAF (mass airflow sensor) so it doens't register how much air the engine is recieving and therefore the engine won't rev and will eventually stall. Took my Dad's car to work and stayed and had a nice long chat with one of the cashiers Dominique about a whole lot of stuff going on there. Got home and ended up staying up till almost 5 to get the intake in right becuase it took 2 hours alone to get the old bolts off the MAF to put in the new filter. Sounds GREAT and I took pics and made a video of it a few nights ago at work.
Worked saturday night and sunday night and yay got back to school around 1 the next afternoon with my Dad's truck and showed everyone the sick video of my car with the intake...they loved it. Got taco bell with Brian and Sam for dinner, came back, helped Sam with her calc, then studied a bit for my music final then off to bed around 2:30. Got up and got the 8:00 shuttle to campus, aced my music final, got breakfast, got a meal to go for lunch, sold back the rest of my books and got a hwole 20 bucks. Then I went back and started to pack up the room. Loaded my Dad's Explorer to capacity...said my goodbyes and off I was to close out sohphomre year. Nuts. Time files.
Next entry will sum up the entire year and then some other stuff...I just worked out hard for 2 hours after detailing my car from top to bottom allllll afternoon. I gave a big FU to the neighbors that already don't like us by blasting my music while washing, waxing, vacuming, and etailing the inside of my car. Haha, suckers...so I'm tired and going to bed.
