Woooooooo!
So I'm finally starting to feel like me again, it's been a long LONG while since I've been able to say that. I'm not completely there yet but it's a work in progress. These last few months have been extremely stressful and I finally cracked and crumbled under it all. Along the way I basically killed 2 friendships, and royally screwed up another one. I haven't talked to Carissa since winter ball, and me and Kait have been on a "hi how are you" basis for the last 2 weeks. :( It's my priority this week to fix both of those hopefully.
Now lets get to this past weekend which I DEFINITELY deserved and needed. Thursday night was the first one i've drank in a while. The week before I was deathly sick, and the one before that I didn't feel like drinking. But this one, oh yes, it was a long time coming. We got toasted pretty quickly, then starting throwing a ball and trying to dive to catch it, then played mini golf, music, and yay just all around a good time. Stacey was at the hotel and once again everyone was in our room. See what happens when I drink? I'm tellin ya...I didn't have anything the 2 weeks before that, and nobody came in our room, but this week...oh yes, 'nuff said. Passed out around 3 and woke up at 9 the next morning and was not even the slightest bit hungover. Aweomse.
So I packed up my stuff, and got my obligatory friday morning DD iced hazelnut with cream and sugar :) and hit the road for home. Got there around 1. Then I bolted over to the bank to make a thousand dollar deposit (hehe yay 4 paychecks)...then flew to the store to say hi to Vicky and Tia, then raced to pick up Carly for lunch. We went to Burger King and had our usual awesome chats and flipped our thumbs at each other and it was great. Then after that I went back to get my haircuit (looks good), then because Carly left her phone in my car, I had to go to her house to drop it off, real slick :P Then I worked from 7-midnight. Dana suprised me by coming to visit. Definitely wasn't expecting it and it made me soooo happy. Thanks you!! Ahh very very busy.
Saturday I woke up around 1, had breakfast, then went to work 4-midnight...not too much happened, just some silly BS drama but thats all taken care of I think.
Sunday was a lot of fun. I woke up around 9 to eat breakfast and then went to the field to take batting practice for the first time this year. My first swing gave me a rocket base hit right back up the middle. After taking pitches the other way to the left-centerfield gap (I bat lefty) I finally put one over the fence on the 31st pitch. That would later be followed by 6 more. The second go-around I hit everything right on the screws, seriously you couldn't tell it was the first time out there. So we were there until about 12:00 or so, came back showered, then went to suprise Dana at her work. So I got in the car around 12:55 or so, got to 18 just fine, and with Sam's directions I should have been there by 1:30 or so. But nope, I forgot Freehold Raceway park is right there. GAH, sat in traffic for an hour, and thanks Sam for stayin on the phone with me to give me directions through other developments and tree farms and such. Finally got to Dana's place around 2:10. Whew...some kid wanted to sell me Nissan HID lights for 100 bucks, umm no? Anyway she was helping a customer when I walked in (she works at a nursery, landscaping place) so after that I went up to her at the counter and was like "uh yes I wanna landscape my backyard." Oh man she had NO idea that I was coming. We talked for a while in between her helping customers and I left around 2:45 cuz I had to be at work at 3:30...she walked me back out to my car and such and that was cool :). Got home in 15 minutes. Made a quick sandwhich, changed, and got to work right on time. Nice day and WELL worth the trip and traffic. Worked my usual 3:30-midnight and sold 75 more dontation tickets than MAry did (348-294) thanks to my awesome crew standing at the doors and selling them left and right.
Oh man and my birthday is in 4 days!! Looks like most of the crew from work is coming down and Dana and Carly too! Yay! Can't wait...
