The latest news has sparked an uproar within mere minutes of its publication. Such is the power of the press. For a media source, it seems to be fairly unbiased, perhaps due to its origin in the Badlands.
Looking at the facts, the Badlands town of Doma had their water supply poisoned. It's been found that the poison used was N-Action Tetrodoxin, perhaps better known as "Black NAT," originating from the Draklor Research Facilities based in Ivona.
There is equal merit to suspect either Ivona or Vohemar in this. However, neither country has reason to target Doma. This is a high risk plan - were either side to be discovered to be behind this, the repercussions from this are to last for countless years. To lose good relations with the Badlands is something neither side wants. The economic consequences would be staggering. Would such a plan be worth risking attempting to frame the other side?
Either way, I've only been restating what the Badlands Bulletin has said. What is important is that the culprit had access to Draklor and its resources. Due to the fact that Draklor has not reported any break ins, or at least not any noticeable ones, I highly doubt this is the direct work of a large group, but rather a smaller operation that had intimate knowledge of both the Draklor Reserch Facilities and the Doma water system. It's possible that the perpetrators are either a single person or a small group are part of something larger, but that is something we can't determine for now.
However, this hardly narrows the list of suspects at all. With so little information, all that we can do is speculate.
