This morning mom started having a lot of trouble breathing and was very agitated. They've been trying to make her comfortable but there is a lot of fluid on her lung and she's not strong enough to make it through the procedure to remove it. The cancer has also spread through her liver further.
Dr Sborov said there's nothing else they can do, and that it will probably be a couple of hours.
Sha and Angie and I were here for that conversation, and mom was aware of what we were saying. We told her she's been an awesome mom and is the reason we're both so cool. She is very peaceful and I asked if she's scared, she said no. She was able to talk to Ryan on the phone and could listen to Tim and Trevor but she was falling asleep so she didn't really respond.
