It's been another long week
It was a few small strokes. But she's already regained almost all her strength and abilities with her right side, and isn't really slurring her words anymore. She is still in the hospital, though.
They've been marching her up and down the hallways trying to make sure she can safely get around on her own, and she's done well with that. They also have her making grilled cheese sandwiches and other stuff.
She called a while ago and said she thinks they may move her back up to the oncology floor today. She mentioned something about radiation treatment tomorrow, but couldn't remember why or where (on her body) they wanted to do it. She's been having a problem swallowing but they had attributed that to acid reflux and the weakened throat from the stroke, so I'm not sure. I wish she'd call me when the doctors are there because she never remembers anything when she talks to me later!
Chemo was supposed to start tomorrow so now I don't know what's up with that.
