This is such good news! Only one more to go before I'm freeeee!! A chance to catch up on life! It's going to feel so good having finished it all...feels really great already!
As a side note, I know my China account hasn't had much...well anything really..but frankly I've forgotten everything that happened. Ish. Well, I can't order it into days anymore. I need photos to jog my memory. So I will, I promise I will...just let me get the photos from that certain someone first.
Getting back to IB, the Standard Level exams were fine, I think I'll do pretty well on them. The Higher Level though...so not good. Well, actually I think English will be okay as well (the second paper's my last exam), but chemistry and psych..so bad. Actually, psych wasn't too bad, well the first two papers, but the second paper I..umm..didn't read the instructions and answered about 4 questions too many. So the mark there will be pretty dodgy, cuz I didn't spend too much time on it. But paper 3 in psych - damn psych teacher never taught us anything about triangulation and verbal protocol, so everyone was stumped except for two students who knew it anyway. I pity all Year 11 IB psych students who are in that class...if you ever see this post, strangle your teacher!!
Chemistry multiple choice probably wasn't that bad either, I know I stuffed up some questions, but I know I definitely knew a fair few as well. It was the paper 2 and 3 I screwed up on. This is mainly because I spent a lot of my study time trying to grasp the basics, so I couldn't move on to the advanced stuff completely. And there were a lot of definitions that I couldn't remember. Paper 3 I was actually making up stuff, but hopefully it was right...I mean it wasn't from nowhere (like paper 3 in psych..nothing else to do), but it was a guess in the end.
As far as the other exams go, Chinese I'm pretty happy with. Most of it I think I answered fine, there was only this one question where we had to choose the appropriate word to go in the text, and the 3 out of 6 that I understood didn't fit in anywhere :S. But the paper 2 was a diary entry, meaning it was subjective and really easy to do..maybe my language wasn't varied enough, but oh well. Maths was okay...the first paper was fine as far as I remember (over a week ago now), and I think the second paper had a few stuff ups but was fine in general. Physics was surprisingly good as well, nothing like chemistry. Then again, one of the questions I couldn't get at first was something like "deduce that the maximum energy output is approximately 0.9kW" or something. I had time at the end and just happened to stumble across 0.9kW, so I feel really lucky about that. Looking at the marking schemes from similar questions in past papers, they say give full marks to any calculation that leads to the right answer, lol.
Weatherwise, I think it's safe to say summer has started. 1. I'm wearing a t-shirt, (ish) shorts and it's night and I still feel rather warm. 2. There is a really huge, really annoying fly bashing itself to death against the ceiling. I think the other one killed itself already. SHOO ALREADY!
These holidays are going to be great..once I'm done, I want to swim, skate, picnic and shop (and maybe Corrin forest :D) until Christmas, besides working on certain unfinished projects (my doily and finishing China account). And then I'm off to New Zealand for a few weeks! Same as Kaz, but we're never in the same place at the same time, so we can't meet up sadly...should still be fun though!
