In the garden at home in Epsom
Today is a beautiful day where I live, and whilst the rest of the town braces itself for the annual onslaught that is the Derby crowd, I am sitting in our peaceful and tranquil garden.
I have a melodic soundtrack of birdsong and cats purring (it's too hot to hunt so they are sunbathing), and I've just seen one of the blossom trees in the garden get caught by the wind and shed a load of it's flowers in a very "whomping willow" type gesture.
Pain is not too bad today and I'm sitting in the sun, blogging and drinking cool water.
If only all days could be like this.
