OMG I've done it now
Erm... so I resigned today. Yep - leaving the company that I've been safely ensconsed at for the last 7 years, to venture out into the big wide unknown. Well, to venture to a new job just down the road from where I live actually but its kind of unknown.
When I rang my boss to tell him he said - "can you be persuaded to stay?" I said he was welcome to try... why is it that I have to say I'm leaving to get offered more money?
So, I finally kicked one for the work/life balance, and due to a pleasing pay increase thrown in, I should be able to move out at some point this year. Yay for me!
erm.... can anyone tell me why I feel so bloody terrified??
At least it means I should be able to get back to a regular dance class as I wont have horrendous commuting any more... Speaking of which - time to go to bed as otherwise the alarm clock will get ignored at 6am...
