Equality Now

I generally don't do any personal postings on this account, but I thought that I would make an exception this time.

We are living in a world, where I can say, that I am "lucky", that I love guys and not girls. I don't have to fear that people won't accept me because of my sexuality. I won't have any problem, if I ever want to get married. And I think it is a pity, that this doesn't apply to every single person on this huge planet. Marriage is a fundamental right for every person, no matter if this person is heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual. But still many authorities don't want to accept that love knows no limits and forbid marriage between same-sex couples.

But thankfully there are some people out there who try to change this. One of those projects is "Broadway Impact", that was started by Gavin Creel, Rory O'Malley and Jenny Kanelos after the election of President Barack Obama. They and other directors, actors, writers, managers... from Broadway are fighting for equality and all of them have the same belief: Everyone should have the right to marry whoever they want.

I found out about this organisation, because I am fan of Gavin Creel and saw him live in London (my favourite Claude so far... and I have seen a lot of them : P ) the other day. When I found out about this I knew immediately that I have to support Broadway Impact. My ways are limited, because I am not living in the States, but I can at least spread the word on the internet, so that other people get to know this.

Spread the word! Support them! Love knows no limits! I am dreaming of a world, where I am not "lucky", just because I am heterosexual, but where everyone has the same right. (=
