Title: Chapter Nine - Fixing

Action speaks louder than words and picture speaks a thousand words. Those were the common sayings when people provide advice to others but how do you actually put simple emotions into actions and pictures?
After knowing the truth, Yukito tried his best to show Yamada that he still loves him. He would smile to the other when they see each other and he would sit next to Yamada during breaks when they gather together. However, Yamada would feel awkward and he would always avoid being near Yukito. Yukito felt rejected and demotivated each time Yamada moves away from him but Ryutaro would always be there to assure him that he still have someone with him.
Chinen sensed what was happening. “Baka Ryo-chan.”
After school, he waited for Yukito at the gate and when he saw the younger boy, he went up to him and gave a ticket to Yukito before walking off before Yukito could ask what it was for. Looking for information on the ticket, he realized that it was for one of their performances during the week.
He started jumping up and down excited about seeing Chinen in action when he suddenly stopped, realizing that it wasn’t about seeing Chinen in action but to show his love to Yamada.
“Yosh~! I know exactly what to do!”
On the day of the performance, everyone was hurrying backstage to get ready except for Yamada who was already done, sitting in his chair and fiddling with his phone.
“Waiting for his message?” Yuma asked Yamada.
“Nope.” Yamada closed his phone, acting non-nonchalant and went out of the room.
“Did he really think we would believe that?” Yuma asked Chinen.
“Let him be. He will soon find out there’s a surprise waiting for him”
“Eh? What do you mean?”
“Betsuni”
“Okay…” Yuma raised his eyebrows at the grinning Chinen. "Something's definitely up with this guy."
“Ah!”Yukito ruffled his hair. “I’m going to be late!”
“Do you want to stop the meter here instead?” the driver asked Yukito.
“Do you think it will be faster if I run there?”
“You can make it in time.”
“Okay. Then I'll stop here then.”
Yukito paid for the fare and bowed to the driver before running off to the destination.
“Next up, NYC with Yuuki 100%…” the MC announce.
“Sumimasen…” Yukito tried to move around in the dark as he searched for his seat.
The songs starts playing as Yukito tried his best to move to the front but was pushed back by the crowd.
“Mou~ I have to do something about this,” Yukito pouts and thought for a moment. “Ah!”
During the performance, Yamada was looking into the crowds when he saw someone standing up with a big board.
“Fans nowadays are crazy...” he continued dancing before turning back to the figure bouncing crazily. “Chotto, he looks familiar…Yukito? Yuki-chan?!”
He missed a beat because he was too happy but quickly regained back his composure and continued the rest of the performance. After the concert, he quickly ran out of the building and called Yukito.
“Yuki-to” he wanted to call him by his nickname. “Can you meet me at the back of the building?”
“I’m already here, Ryo-chan,” Yukito answered, standing silently behind Yamada.
Both of them put away their phones and stared at each other. Silence engulfed them and it felt as though words were being spoken by the wind that was blowing.
“What are you doing here?” Yamada finally broke the silence. “Ah. It must be because of Chinen?”
“No. It’s not because of Chinen senpai.”
“Why aren’t you with Ryutaro?”
“I didn’t tell him because I want to see you alone,” Yukito looked at the ground as tears threatened to fall.
“You don’t have to come all the way here to see me. We can see each other in school..” Yamada said coldly.
“I miss you, Ryo-chan!” Yukito dropped the board he was holding and captured Yamada’s lips as he wrapped his arms around Yamada's neck.
Yamada heart beat faster as he felt the familiar lips he missed so much. He felt wetness on his cheeks and realized that he was crying. Yukito felt the tears and he quickly pulled away, replacing it with a hug instead. He didn’t want to let go again. He was determined to hold on to the other even if Yamada was going to push him away but there was no response from the other, just soft sobbing.
