Cooking With You (6/15)
“Hais~” Junno sigh as he picked up his bag and head out the library. “Hmm.. Maybe I should drop by Uepi’s place to see what’s he’s doing.”
After a 20 minutes bus ride, he finally reached Ueda’s place.
“Hmm… Maybe I should have called first before coming straight to his house” He thought again. “Oh well. Since I’m already here...”
He just skipped off up to the Ueda’s house and knocked on the door. A moment later, he was greeted by a lady. He suddenly felt a hit in the stomach.
“Erm.. Konnichiwa~ Eto.. Is Ueda-san in?” Junno was hesitant whether or not he should stay or leave.
“Hold on. Ueda! Someone is here for you!”
“Who is it?” Junno heard Ueda’s voice from inside. “Oh! Junno-kun! I didn’t expect to see you today”
“Er… I thought I would just drop by. You know… since Valentine’s Day is coming and all~”
“Eh? A guy giving out chocolates?” the lady started to ask.
“Erm.. I thought of making it for my mum actually,”
“Oh…” both Ueda and the lady reply.
“It’s alright. It seems I came at an inappropriate timing. I should leave,” Junno bowed. “Gomennasai! Jaa ne~!”
Junno quickly ran down the stairs and went to the bus stop. It was luck that his bus just came at that moment. He boarded it without much hesitation. As he grab a seat near the window, he just sigh at the thought that Ueda must be busy that day and maybe the lady was someone important to Ueda.
He was soon snapped out from his thoughts as his phone vibrated violently. He looked at his phone and he was shocked to see an email from Ueda

From: Uepi
GET DOWN THE BUS NOW! I CAN’T CATCH UP!

Junno looked outside his window and saw Ueda running and panting after the bus. He was waving violently. Junno quickly pressed the bell and alighted the bus.
“Ueda-san~”Junno just looked at Ueda as he caught up with Junno still trying to catch his breath.
“Ne~ Junno~ You know… I’m still human… I can’t possible run after the bus you know…” Ueda tried to get his sentence to form while he was still panting.
“You didn’t have to run after the bus,” Junno was now surprised at Ueda‘s action after remembering.
“I know I don’t have to but when you left so sudden like that, I thought I just had to catch you,” Ueda now looked into Junno’s eyes. “I thought if I didn’t, you won’t just go off and never come back.”
“Ueda-san~” Junno eyes was now filled with tears. “The lady back then…”
“She’s just a friend and nothing more than that. Let’s head back to my place alright?” Ueda took Junno’s hand.
“H-hai” Junno blushed at the sudden contact but still continued to follow Ueda as he looked on the pavement. “Eto.. Ueda-san, is it alright if I call you… Erm..”
“Uepi?” Ueda cut Junno sentence with a smile. “Of course.”
“Eh?!” Junno was surprised. “How did you know what I was about to ask you that?”
“I heard you call me that during breakfast that day. I also know you keep my email under the name of ‘Uepi’.” Ueda casually replied.
Junno blushed more at the acknowledgement from Ueda. “Thank you, Uepi~” he whispered.
“Hmm? Did you say something?” Ueda turn to look at Junno.
“Nope. Nothing,” Junno smiled happily.
