every once in a while it seems that something pops into our lives that serves as a reality check. something that makes you realize that the little things are amazing and the bad things dont really matter.
i received one of these checks today. around 9 pm yesterday a car crashed into a retention pond near carmel. a firefighter rescued the family, unfortunately the cold of the pond was too much. shazreh, her sisters, and her mother all passed away at area hospitals.
even though i only spent a trimester and a few times outside of class with shaz, i realized that she is an amazing woman. in our 730 calc class she always had a way of making me laugh and kept me entertained. i always enjoyed her company and am sad that i will never be able to have it again. but more importantly i know she touched many lives in the short time she was around and am sad that she will never be able to touch the many others she would have.
this experience has served as a reminder that life is very short and there is no time for regret. shazreh always made the most of every day and i wish we could all do the same.
Shazreh: i would like you to know that you are in everyone's thoughts and prayers and will be greatly missed. i hope you realize the effect you've had on everyone's lives. Thank you.
RIP Shazreh
