and now for the weekly update...
Yeah, exciting.
I worked all weekend. Had a FOURTEEN HOUR tour on Saturday. That sounds like a bad joke. High end client, big big day. Then the hotel messed up breakfast on Sunday and they went to the airport pissed off after all my hard work. They said it wouldn't reflect on me... but I still felt like crying when John and I left the hotel on Sunday. Luckily, we got an upgraded lovely room, and the bed ROCKED, so that was a good thing.
John and I decided that the weather is too sucky for planting, so we spent the afternoon doing fun stuff like checking out Elephant Island, Lang and Hillside wineries, and lunching at the Gasthaus in Peachland. Very very nice. It started to absolutely pour yesterday afternoon, so yay to not gardening!
Today I am procrastinating going into the office, just because I am tired, and also because I was supposed to do a shuttle to a golf course today, and I am guessing it is off... meaning I am in the office all day. Not that this is a problem, but I was kind of looking forward to the shuttle for some odd reason.
I cannot wait for the coming weekend. Camping with the parents on Thursday night in Bridal veil falls, bungee and lunch at the brew pub in Whistler on Friday, camping Saturday and Sunday nights at Horne Lake, rappelling and extreme cave tour on Sunday. CANNO WAIT I tell ya! Just me and J, our birthday celebrations! Plus, holy crap, our 1 year... has it only been that long? haha
