I need a change.
John and I had a very exciting conversation last night. We originally had planned on just going to Honduras for a week after Miriam's wedding, then to Ontario for Christmas. Then we were thinking about it, and realized there is no need to limit ourselves....
SO...
We are thinking about a trip to Asia this year. Spend a week or so as a stop over in Japan, and visit friends in Gunma. It has been too long since I was there. Then we want to go to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam for 2 months. I have spent a few hours already looking up flights!
Then, we are thinking about coming back here and maybe moving. That part is not decided, and now that my family is all here, I dont know if we will want to go in the next year. BUT, he hates his job, and I dont know what is happening with mine next year. If we let out apartment go in December when we travel, we wouldnt have to worry about rent/subletting... and I found a cool job up at a ranch/resort in the Chilcotin. Very very cool. I contacted them today to see if they accept applications from couples.
Ok, so yes, we are always changing our plans, and you never know what might happen - so watch this space :)
